Movement Building
Organising citizen actors and groups for civic action and engagement.
Movement Building
The Movement Building Programme strengthens citizen power by organising individuals and groups to take charge of governance and demand accountability. Rooted in the Ni Sisi! philosophy of people-led change, the movement brings together Kenyans from diverse backgrounds, across ethnicity, gender, ability, and class, under one umbrella for civic action.

At both county and national levels, Ni Sisi! builds spaces where citizens can unite around shared values, advocate for good governance, and work collectively toward effective service delivery and transformative leadership.

Establishment of Ni Sisi! Chapters

Ni Sisi! Chapters form the backbone of the movement at the county level, where governance, resource allocation, and service delivery converge. Each chapter functions as an incubator for citizen-led initiatives and collaboration among grassroots groups and formal organisations.

Ni Sisi! Convenings

Ni Sisi! Convenings bring citizens, duty bearers, and community groups together to discuss governance, service delivery, and emerging issues. These structured forums, ranging from ward and county meetings to national gatherings—encourage open dialogue, collaboration, and shared problem-solving.

Political Debates

Inuka Kenya Ni Sisi! hosts political debates at county and national levels to promote issue-based discourse and informed leadership choices. These forums provide communities with an opportunity to question candidates, evaluate their track records, and engage them on matters of public interest.
